One day while I was sitting in our balcony, I asked the Lord on what were the other special gifts He has given me aside from being a programmer. I wanted the know so that I can invest on it and cultivate it for the glory of God.
As I recall, I got these on my lists:
1. Teacher. I was asked to teach in Sunday School for kids every Sunday for almost 6 years.
2. Emcee both on Sunday church services and weddings. I've experienced 3 times holding up the wedding ceremony and reception programme and 3-4 times a month for leading the church services every Sunday.
3. Devotional Leader. I was asked to lead the Bible Study for 3 months for 10 people.
4. Manager. I was hired as a Software Development Manager in 1 year
5. Camp Asst Directress. I've got 3 times spearheading the youth camp activities.
If I will enlist them into bullets, I would say that I can:
L - ead
C - ommunicate
T - each
Just recently, I was recognized by my boss that I am effective in communicating to our clients. Oh! Wow! He even asked me how did I do it because it's a gift. If they can see it on me, why I can't see it on myself? I think I've got to believe first before others will believe on me.
And so today, I've decided to create a blog that will enhance my gifts and so to be a blessing to others by sharing my thoughts through composing Bible devotions. I believe that "Write to Feed Soul" site title suits the purpose of this blog.
I hope you would enjoy and share with me as I travel through this another journey of my life.
